Feb 11th, 2008 - "Hi folks, A short time ago I had the opportunity to ride the scenic trails of the famed Northeast Kingdom. As a native of St. Johnsbury Center and former member of the Cal. Cty. Trail Club (their first Tucker operator - 9 years) this was a delightful homecoming for me. The loop I took on Jan. 26 started in West Danville, proceeded west to E. Hardwick, north through Craftsbury & Albany, west to W. Glover and then across Rte. 122 to Sheffield and on down to your territory. I found the trails of Sno Cruiser system to be in excellent shape! I bet the ol' fellows I remember working with on trails in that area (Alcide 'Punch' Bassett and Wes Jones) back in the day would be very pleased. You folks have a real gem there now, my compliments to the entire club and grooming staff. I hope to return to your trails on Sat., March 15 before heading to our race in Barton on Sunday, March 16. In 2006, the Lyndon Sno Cruisers were presented with the "Most Improved Trails" award by the Vermont Association of Snow Travelers (VAST).
