VAST (Vermont Association of Snow Travelers)  : VAST is a non-profit, private group that includes 138 clubs statewide, with over 35,000 members combined. The clubs and their steadfast volunteers are the backbone of the organization.  Founded almost 40 years ago, VAST is responsible for the organization of the sport, maintaining and grooming trails. One of the oldest snowmobiling organizations in the U.S., VAST is a non-profit, private group that includes 138 clubs statewide, with over 35,000 members combined. The clubs and their steadfast volunteers are the backbone of the organization.

Landowners :  Snowmobiling is a privilege and is permitted only through the traditional generosity of thousands of property owners. Eighty percent of Vermont’s trail system is on private land. Respecting the land by showing courtesy and not littering will ensure that New England’s best trail system remains open for years to come.
About the Lyndon Sno Cruisers

Who we Are : The Lyndon Sno Cruisers is one of 138 statewide clubs that make up VAST.

Our Trails : We groom and maintain approximately 60 miles of trails in the towns of Lyndon, Sutton, Sheffield, Wheelock, West Burke and East Burke for your riding enjoyment. Like all VAST trails, most of the trails we maintain are on private land. Please show the landowners your appreciation for their willingness to let you ride on their land by staying on the trails, not littering and riding safely.

Club Meetings From September thru May we meet once a MONTH with the date and location set at each meeting. Volunteering to help a local club is a great way to support the sport of snowmobiling and make new friends.

Town of Lyndon  : The Town of Lyndon, (founded in 1780) is located in Vermont’s beautiful rural “Northeast Kingdom” in Caledonia County. The town is six square miles of rolling green hills and valleys on both sides of the Passumpsic River. Lyndon is readily accessible from I-91 and is just 3 1/2 hours from Boston, 2 1/2 hours from Montreal and 6 hours from New York. There are many great places to stay and eat that are on or easily accessible from the snowmobile trail system.

Rider Testimonials : “Hello, I wanted to say AGAIN…a GREAT JOB ON YOUR TRAILS THIS YEAR! We rode out of Lyndon every time and never hit a bad trail. You all work very hard and it shows. Thanks again for your commitment….”

“What kind of indoor/outdoor carpeting do you use on your trail system? Thanks for another great season. I thank you and my back thanks you for providing such smooth riding all season long.”
